There is no upper age limit for regular employees of JNU who have completed at least 3 years of regular service. Also, there is a 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks for SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates wherever a minimum percentage is fixed for the qualifying degree. Interview / Personality Test
An Interview or Personality Test of 100 marks is held only for Group A posts. As per Central Government directions, there is no interview for Group B and Group C posts. For Group A posts, the final merit is calculated using 70% weightage for the written test and 30% weightage for the interview.

There is negative marking of 1/4th mark for every wrong answer in Paper I and Paper II.
